Waqrapukara es un sitio arqueológico ubicado en la Región de Cusco, Perú, cerca del pueblo de Acos Vinchos. Es conocido por sus impresionantes ruinas incas que se encuentran en la cima de una colina con vista al cañón del río Apurímac. El nombre "Waqrapukara" proviene de dos palabras quechuas: "waqra", que significa cuerno, y "pukara", que se refiere a una fortaleza.

Itinerary of the tour.

Our adventure will begin with the pick up from the hotel between 4:30 to 5:00 a.m., we will take the route south of Cusco that we will travel for 3 hours in our transport towards the town of Santa Lucia, the course we will make a stop to have breakfast and take advantage of the services.

We will continue with our adventure, where in Santa Lucia we will take a detour traveling for 20 minutes through a zigzagging road until we reach the parking point, where we will have the briefing before starting our adventure towards Waqrapukara. Once ready we will start walking, the hike is uphill with a duration of 2 hours, depending on the movement of the group, on the route we can appreciate a variety of flora and fauna.

Once in Waqrapukara the guide will detail the importance of this archaeological complex, then we will have free time to enjoy the place and take souvenir photos, after the visit of Waqrapukara we will take the road back to the parking lot where our transport will be waiting for us, and on the way back we will stop at our restaurant where we will enjoy the deserved lunch for all the effort made.

Finally, our transport will return us to Cusco city arriving between 17:30 pm to 18:00 pm. culminating our adventure in the main square or agreed point.
