Itinerary

This day we will get up early, our guide and transport will pick you up at your accommodation between 04:20 to 4:30 in the morning, we will make a trip of two and a half hours in our transport to the district of Mollepata, where we can have breakfast and use the services, do some shopping for the hike. After breakfast we will continue our journey for an hour in our transport, the road we will take is a dirt road (trail) to Soraypampa which is located at an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level. During the trip we will see beautiful landscapes and the impressive snow-capped mountain "Salkantay".

From soraypampa we will start a 2 km hike, the road is ascending and it will take us about 1 hour and 40 minutes, while hiking we will see a panorama of snow-capped mountains, unique natural landscapes and a great diversity of flora and fauna until we reach the "humantay lagoon" which is located at an altitude of 4200 masl.

The "humantay lagoon" is turquoise due to the mineral that is in the bottom and the clearest coloration can be observed when the day is sunny, the lagoon is fed by the glaciers of the mountain and is considered a jewel of nature, besides enjoying the Humantay lagoon we can appreciate the breathtaking views of the mountains that surround it.

We will descend walking until we reach Soraypampa where our transport will be waiting for us to bring us back to the district of Mollepata, where we can enjoy a buffet lunch. After lunch we will start our return trip to Cusco. Our tour ends at 17:30 to 18:30 pm in the main square or agreed point.
