Las "7 Lagunas de Ausangate" se refieren a un conjunto de lagunas ubicadas en la región de Ausangate, en los Andes del sur de Perú. Ausangate es una montaña emblemática y una de las más altas de los Andes peruanos. Esta área es conocida por su belleza natural, que incluye lagunas de varios colores y tamaños, así como paisajes espectaculares.
We will start this day with the pick up from your accommodation between 04:30 a.m. to 4:40 a.m. and then go to the community of "Pacchanta" which is located in the foothills of the snow-capped mountain "Ausangate". Our trip will be through the south of Cusco and we will take a detour to a carriage road to reach the community of Pacchanta.
Once in pacchanta we will have breakfast and we will start the hike to know the 7 lagoons, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive to a viewpoint from where we can appreciate the first lagoon known as the pucacocha lagoon, after appreciating and taking pictures we will continue walking to see the second lagoon patacocha, the third lagoon alqacocha, minutes later we will see the lagoons with turquoise color that are known as q'omercocha lagoon.
Finally we will see the lagoons orco otorongo - this small lagoon, by its shape and landscape around, has the shape of (the spots) of an otorongo, a feline that inhabits the jungles of Peru. Near the orco otorongo lagoon is the 'china otorongo' lagoon, which refers to the female of the male otorongo. The panoramic views of both lagoons are impressive. They are ideal for taking pictures. Laguna azul cocha will be the last of the circuit of the 7 lagoons, it has a dark blue color of its waters. The beauty of all the lagoons is unique, each site is different because of the same geography.
We will start the return trip for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the community of pacchata where we will have lunch and enjoy the thermal medicinal waters.
Finally we will take our transport back to Cusco arriving at 18:30 pm, taking as final point the main square or agreed place.
